You Are Not Alone: A Letter to the Families Walking This Road

Published on 12 February 2025 at 16:38

To the mother who held her baby for only a moment, to the father who longed for a lifetime of memories, to the families whose arms feel emptier than they should—this is for you.

We see you. We know the ache that never truly fades, the weight of grief that lingers in every quiet moment, the longing to hold, to hear, to love in ways this world no longer allows. We know because we have walked this road, too.

When we lost Caislee, we left the hospital with nothing but a box—a painful reminder of all that was taken too soon. In those first moments, grief felt insurmountable, a mountain too high to climb, a darkness too deep to ever find the light again. But what we have learned on this journey is that love does not end where life does. Our babies are woven into the fabric of who we are, into every breath we take, into every tear we shed, and every memory we hold close.

This foundation was created for you. For the ones who need to know they are not alone. For the families searching for a way to honor their babies, to find hope even in the sorrow, and to feel seen in a world that often moves forward too quickly. We are here to hold space for you, to grieve with you, to remember your precious child alongside you.

Your baby matters. Their name deserves to be spoken, their life deserves to be honored, and their memory will never be forgotten. We pray that through the Caislee Rylin Foundation, through each Caislee Box, each print, each shared story, and each gentle reminder—you feel the love that still surrounds you.

Grief is not a journey meant to be traveled alone. And as you walk this path, please know that we are walking with you, holding you in our hearts, and lifting you up in prayer.

With love and understanding,
The Caislee Rylin Foundation
